Northern Lights are a magical display of dancing shapes and colors in the night sky. The closer you are to the south or north pole, the more northern lights you see.

The sámi people believed that northern lights appear when a fox is running in the hills and whipes its tail against the snow.

There are real amethysts in the Northern Lights earrings and they are from Lampivaara, Pyhä-Luosto Lapland Finland. The size of the earring is 8,5 x 12 mm without the hook. Earrings are silver.

Please notice that the color of the amethyst varies from light purple to dark purple and the amethyst stone won’t necessary look the same as in the picture.
