Description
Siberian Jay is a fearless and curious bird of the northern forests, often regarded as a bird of good fortune. In the folklore of Lapland, it was believed to be a soul bird, carrying the spirit of a person after death. Due to habitat fragmentation in southern Finland, the Siberian Jay is now most commonly found in the north, where hikers are often joined by these bold birds seeking a share of their campfire snacks.
The piece is adorned with a genuine Lampivaara amethyst, whose purple hue adds a touch of northern magic to the design. Throughout history, amethyst has been regarded as a stone of protection and spiritual wisdom, believed to strengthen one’s connection to inner guidance and intuition. Together with the symbolism of the Siberian Jay, it creates a meaningful reminder of good fortune, instinct, and a close connection to nature.
The Siberian Jay pendant is design and made by Taigakoru to Arctic Amethyst Ltd. The wing span is 21,5 mm and size of the stone is 6mm.
Silver chain is included in the price. Choose the length from the side.
Please notice that the color of the amethyst varies from light purple to dark purple and the amethyst stone won’t necessary look the same as in the picture.
