In the silver earrings there is tumbled amethyst stone from Lampivaara Amethyst Mine, Pyhä-Luosto Lapland. Stone imitates the shape of a water drop and its size is under 20 mm. Amethyst is believed to protect its carrier from evil eyes and opponents. Soldiers use to wear amethyst as a protection in battles.

Please notice that tumbled amethysts are unique and their shape, size and color can vary. The color varies from light purple to dark purple. The stones in the earrings doesn’t necessarily look the same as in the picture.
