Description

Shaman stones are from Lampivaara Amethyst Mine, Pyhä-Luosto, Lapland Finland. These shaman stones are finalized in a tumbler. There is black smoke quartz, white snow quartz and purple amethyst. Slow crystallization and varying circumstances during the process made the stone three-colored.

Lampivaara has been sacred place for sámi people and this three-colored stone is named after them because it was well-known that the sámi shamans got their powers from these stones.

One stone weights 1-5 g and assortment include 3 stones.

Please note that the size and color of tumbled shaman stones varies. The shaman stones may look different than in the pictures.

These shaman stones are tumbled in the work shop at Amethyst Shop in Luosto centre. There are many steps in the tumbling process and it takes about 3 weeks to have finished product.
